Reverse osmosis system for well or lake water.

The most effective way to purify drinking and utility water. Produces up to 300 liters of pure drinking water per hour. Easily expandable system if water demand increases.

  • Delivery/pickup within 1-3 business days from order.
  • Order through the online store, via email, or by phone.

Easy to install and operate!

Includes all necessary parts, hoses, and components. The package includes the required distribution pump from the water tank to consumption, post-filters, and shut-off valves, but the installation of these to the plumbing is not included, as they are part of the property’s water system.

Sufficient to cover even larger consumption needs. Easy operation and maintenance, even for seasonal use in cottages. Maintenance and filter replacements can be done independently.

Removes otherwise difficult-to-filter compounds, such as uranium, arsenic, blue-green algae (99.9%), fluoride, and chloride. Produces clear and pure water. The content of suspended solids and humus in the water source slightly affects filter lifespan, but typically, pre-filters are replaced once a year. Osmosis membranes can last several years.

Includes a two-stage pre-filtration system with the AQVA XL-sized filter package. Produces purified water into the included 185-liter tank, which acts as a continuous buffer during consumption peaks. The water level in the tank is controlled by an automatic float valve. When water is used, the water channel opens, and the pressure-boosting pump starts, ensuring the tank is always full.

Indicator lights, a pressure gauge, and water flow meters provide essential information about the system's operation. This product is the most reliable and user-friendly system on the market. Manufactured in Finland.

Water purification capacity with new filters, at 6 bar input pressure and 7°C water, is about 150 liters per hour. The operating and installation manual provides more detailed production rates in table form. May also be suitable for wells where the salt content (chloride) is moderately elevated. Discuss this with the seller.

The system includes:

  • AQVA AHTI reverse osmosis unit (product code: AQRO-AH)
  • Osmosis membrane housings and membranes (AQ062)
  • XL-sized pre-filtration for suspended solids, odors, and a polyphosphate filter, which extends the life of the osmosis membranes (anti-scalant type)
  • 185-liter water tank with necessary penetrations, fittings, and automatic float valve. The estimated capacity during peak consumption, when producing from freshwater, is approximately 350 liters per hour with this tank size.
  • 1-micron replacement air filter for the water tank (product code: AQMF1-M)
  • Nearly silent distribution pump from the clean water tank to consumption, Grundfos pressure water automation type (product code: Scala1)
  • Post-filtration in the AQVA L-sized housing (product code: AQUF01-L), ensuring hygienic quality of the water taken from the tank
  • A neutralization filter package that adjusts the pH value to a suitable level before the water is fed into the distribution network, containing natural calcium (product code: AQPH-XL)
  • Connections for linking the reverse osmosis unit to the pre-filter and water tank

Typical annual operating costs arise from filter replacements. For example, with an annual usage of approximately 100,000 liters of water, when producing water from the sea in the outer archipelago, where the typical humus content is COD 10mg/l, average operating costs are in the range of €200-400. However, for well water, it is important to consider typical seasonal quality fluctuations due to snowmelt, rainfall, groundwater level changes, and shifts in flow direction. These details usually become clearer after the first few seasons of use.

Filters replaced every two years

  • Reverse osmosis membrane x 1, AQ062 (recommended, but may last longer)
  • Post-mineralization, AQPH-XL (or 68,000 liters)
  • Post-filter, AQUF01-L (or if clogged)

Pre-filters replaced once a year

  • AQCB-XL (activated carbon, which also filters suspended solids). Depending on the amount of sediment and algae, it may clog sooner.
  • AQPF-XL (polyphosphate)

Winter storage

Winter storage of the reverse osmosis system is possible using the included valves and shut-offs. The operating and installation manual describes the process in more detail. In spring, when restarting the reverse osmosis system, follow the instructions for a thorough flush, after which the water can be used normally.
