Transform lake water into potable drinking water with a reverse osmosis system
or clarify it for household use with a line filter.
No need to haul water in canisters from the city to your
cottage or vacation home—AQVA’s lake water filters allow you to purify water
directly from the lake.
Lake Water Filters for Drinking Water
A reverse osmosis system ensures that lake water is clear and
drinkable, regardless of its initial quality. For water with high humus
content, mechanical pre-filtration is required, which is included in all AQVA
filter packages.
Compact reverse osmosis units, like the AQVA Smart EVO, can
be installed under the kitchen sink, providing convenient access to purified
lake water for drinking and cooking. Larger systems can purify all lake water
used for both drinking and household tasks, such as bathing.
For comprehensive water purification, large reverse osmosis
systems, such as the Finland-designed and manufactured AQVA SAIMAA, can be
placed in a technical room to filter all household water.
Clarifying Lake Water for Household Use
Not all water at a vacation home needs to be purified to
drinking water standards. For tasks like bathing, dishwashing, or laundry,
clarifying lake water with a line filter, such as AQVA’s M, L, or XL filter
packages, is often sufficient.
AQVA’s line filters remove solids, humus, and residues from
agriculture or industry, which can cause unwanted color or odor in water. For
combined needs, the Smart EVO+ package can purify drinking water while
