AQVA TOTAL 4 Solids-Lime-Odor-Taste filter combination

AQVA 20" BB / XL-size filter package. Perfect for improving the quality of hard and limescale water and effectively reducing the harmful effects of limescale.

Does not use regeneration salt like traditional water softeners, but is based on DAC technology. Limescale is crystallized in the filter, so it no longer accumulates on surfaces, furniture or technology.

Purification methods:

• In the first stage, visible and invisible solids are filtered with a 1 µm (1/1000th of a millimeter) fine filter. This stage filters out, among other things, humus and oxidized iron, i.e. rust. ( AQMF1-XL )
• In the second filtration stage, the lime dissolved in the water is crystallized. The crystallized lime no longer accumulates in pipes, technology, or on surfaces. ( AQCAL-XL )
• In the third filtration stage, odors, tastes, metals and chlorine are filtered from the water. ( AQCF-XL )

System requirements:

• Typical flow rate is up to 15 liters per minute. Water can flow through the filter faster if necessary, but filtration efficiency may temporarily decrease.
• Installed after the water meter / in the water line after the diaphragm pressure tank, before the property's water supply
• Operating temperature 2-30 °C
• Operating pressure 2-10 bar. For higher pressures, a pressure reducing valve can be installed in front of the filter.
• With the new filter there is no significant pressure drop. Pressure drop 0.5bar. @15lpm

Replacement filters and theoretical efficiencies:

• 1 µm fine filter, AQMF1-XL , replacement interval 24,000 liters**
• Activated carbon filter, AQCF-XL , replacement interval up to 24,000 - 75,000l**
• Limescale decomposition filter, AQCAL-XL , replacement interval approximately 6-18 months depending on usage**

Winter storage:

• In winter, if temperatures drop below 2°C, to prevent frost damage, the water lines are closed and the line filter housings are emptied. The filters should be stored in a warm place during the winter, unless the filters need to be replaced at the beginning of the next season.
