Designed for environments where water contains higher levels of iron, rust, humus, or other sediments that can clog filters. This ceramic replacement filter for the AQVA ULTRA tap filter (AQ003-1) offers robust water purification for clean, safe drinking water.

• Slightly less efficient than the hollow fiber-based AQ003-1VU filter but nearly as effective.
• Removes most microplastics and bacteria with a 0.3 µm pore size for reliable filtration.

Filter Replacement Interval and Capacity:

• Capacity: Purifies approximately 1,000 liters of water, ensuring long-lasting performance.
• Time-Based Replacement: Replace every 6 months for optimal filtration results.
• Note: Water type and quality, particularly high sediment or iron content, may affect filter lifespan.

Functionality:

• Replace the filter when the flow of purified water noticeably slows, indicating clogging.
• The filter can be cleaned (revived) a few times when clogged, though this may slightly reduce purification efficiency. Cleaning is done using included sandpaper to restore flow.
• Features granular adsorption media to reduce or eliminate metals, heavy metals, and chemical impurities.
