AQVA MOCCA Reverse Osmosis System for Drinking and Cooking Water
The AQVA MOCCA reverse osmosis system produces high-quality drinking and cooking water without a storage tank. It removes impurities known to affect the taste of beverages and food or pose health risks, allowing only water molecules to pass through while flushing contaminants to the drain. Before use, the system adds a small amount of magnesium and calcium to enhance water's taste and optimize its properties for coffee and other beverages.
Designed for direct connection to restaurant equipment and appliances, a pressure tank may be required if the combined water flow demand is high.
Operating without electricity or complex automation, the system relies solely on water pressure. Its reliability stems from a unique valve design and standard, compatible reverse osmosis membranes that perform the core purification.
Water flow meters allow monitoring of system performance and membrane replacement needs. For professional use, membranes should be replaced every six months or when water production slows.
Features:
- Developed and manufactured in Finland
- Scalable to meet the water needs of an entire property (see product code: AQ011-2)
- Nearly maintenance-free, requiring only periodic filter replacement, easily done by the user
- Compact and lightweight unit, connected with tool-free JG quick-connect fittings
- Only one mechanical moving part: an automatic valve
- Operates on mains water pressure; higher pressure increases purified water output
- Produces approximately 1 liter per minute at 4 bar pressure (output varies based on water impurity levels, especially chloride content)
- Adjustable flush water volume to save water and optimize purified water production
- Removes 85–99.9999% of common water contaminants, except some gaseous compounds
- Suitable for purifying lake water, river water, well water, and municipal water with TDS below 2500 mg/L
- Delivers water to a non-pressurized container, a dedicated faucet, or a membrane pressure tank
Removes from Water:
- Bacteria, viruses, cysts, yeasts, molds
- Manganese
- Sulfur, hydrogen sulfide
- Iron
- Uranium
- Humus (COD, KMnO4, permanganate)
- Fluoride
- Chloride and salt (approximately 85% removal)
- Taste and odor impurities
- Pipe-related contaminants
- Limescale
- Water softening
- Hormones, antibiotics, and pharmaceutical residues
- Pollutants
- Color
- Agricultural and industrial residues
Package Contents:

Benefits:
- Produces clean, great-tasting water for drinking and cooking
- Enhances coffee and beverage preparation with optimized water quality
- Easy maintenance with user-replaceable filters
- Reliable, electricity-free operation
- Scalable for larger water purification needs
Technical Specifications:
- Connection: ½-inch male-female threads
- Flow rate: Approximately 1 liter per minute at 4 bar (varies with water quality)
- Compatible with AQVA reverse osmosis systems
- No significant pressure drop in household use
System Requirements:
- Pre-filtration recommended (e.g., AQ006-PC pre-filter)
- Consistent feed pressure: 2–6 bar
Winter Storage:
During winter, if temperatures drop below 2°C, shut off water lines and drain the system. Cap the reverse osmosis unit’s water lines and store in a warm environment. When restarting in spring, flush the membranes by running water to the drain for approximately 30 minutes before normal use.
