Standard size 10" iron- manganese filter

Benefits:

Cleaning and operating principles:

• Dense mechanical filter filters solid particles down to 5 µm
• By ion exchange, iron, manganese and limescale, among others, are removed from the water. The pH value of the water has no effect on the cleaning efficiency

Filters from the water:

• Iron 2 mg/l (recommended), maximum 4 mg/l
• Manganese 0.3 mg/l (recommended), maximum 0.5 mg/l
• Limescale
• Lead and copper
• Solid particles
• Organic matter. Maximum recommended organic matter COD 10 mg/l.

Technical specifications:

• Filter capacity approx. 55,000 litres when the combined amount of iron and manganese is 1000 µg/l. Other water properties may affect the actual filter capacity
• Operating temperature 2–30 °C
• Recommended water flow rate approx. 5 litres per minute
• pH value has no effect on capacity or cleaning efficiency
• No significant pressure drop with a new filter
• Dimensions: Length 250 mm and diameter 60 mm

System requirements:

• Stable supply pressure 2–10 bar
• If the water contains a lot of solid particles, the water should be pre-filtered. Here is a link to a 1 µm sediment filter.
• Suitable for cold water

Winter storage:

• In winter, if temperatures drop below 2 °C, to prevent frost damage, the water lines are shut off and the in-line filter housings are emptied. The filters are stored warm and dry if they are to be reused.
