AQVA AHTI 2 BOX reverse osmosis system

The new modular AQVA AHTI 2 BOX reverse osmosis system. Developed and manufactured in Finland.

The most efficient and compact solution for purifying well or lake water into drinkable water.

High clean water yield

Produces filtered water up to 120–200 liters per hour under typical conditions. In peak conditions, the theoretical maximum output reaches up to 300 liters per hour.

Reliable operation even in demanding conditions

No unnecessary electromechanical parts or additional solutions that are prone to failure. No idle flushing – fewer wearing parts and worry-free operational reliability. All necessary meters are included in the device.

Pre-assembled – easy to install

Arrives fully assembled. Installation is as easy as installing a regular household appliance. The smallest 0.54 m² floor space on the market allows for installation in smaller spaces. We recommend using a HVAC installer.

Suitable for lake and well water

Filters lake and well water to make it completely drinkable. The suitability of well water is easily verified by water analysis in AQVA's own laboratory.

185 liter integrated clean water tank

Sufficient for everyday use and peak consumption, such as sauna evenings. Easily cleaned through the maintenance hatch. 0.1 µm post-filter ensures hygienic water quality every time you use it.

Energy efficient and affordable to use

The production of clean water requires an average of only 5.5 kWh of energy per 1,000 liters. Operating costs remain moderate, even particularly low in clear lake water.

Easy to maintain and adjust yourself

All maintenance operations can be carried out without the need for a plumber. The rinse water ratio can be easily adjusted and checked without tools – optimizing the ratio extends the life of the membranes or increases production efficiency as needed.

Finnish – CE marked Key Flag product

Made in Finland in AQVA's own production. CE-marked reverse osmosis device, which has been awarded the Key Flag mark. By choosing this product, you support Finnish work and expertise.

Benefits:

  • Produces clear and clean water, regardless of raw water quality
  • Easy setup and installation
  • Filters are easily visible and replaceable
  • Intermediate water tank is easy to maintain and wash
  • Post-filtration ensures filtered water quality
  • Reverse osmosis membranes have a service life of up to five years

Cleaning and action methods:

  • In the first stage, the XL-size 1 µm fine filter filters visible and invisible particles from the water down to 1 µm (1/1000th of a millimeter)
  • In the second stage, the water passes through an XL-sized activated carbon filter, filtering out organic compounds, metals, heavy metals, industrial chemicals and gaseous pollutants from the water.
  • The third pre-filter is an L-size polyphosphate filter that protects and extends the life of the reverse osmosis membranes. The polyphosphate changes the form of lime and humus so that they cannot accumulate in the equipment structures and osmosis membranes.
  • The thorough filtration is performed by reverse osmosis membranes, through which only water molecules pass, filtering the water to almost the same level as battery water. Impurities are washed away with the rinse water.
  • Before the water enters the tank, it passes through a post-mineralization filter, adding calcium to the water and thus raising the pH value of the water.
  • The distribution pump pumps water into the property through a post-filter, which ensures the hygienic quality of the water. The post-filter is fibrous activated carbon with 0.1 µm ultrafiltration inside.

Filters:

  • Solid particles
  • Turbidity and color
  • Smells and tastes
  • Blue-green algae 99.9%
  • Metals such as iron and manganese
  • Organic matter
  • Heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic*
  • Salts such as chloride**, sodium**, sulfates, nitrates and nitrites
  • Microbiological contaminants such as bacteria, viruses and molds
  • Chlorine and other chlorine compounds
  • Uranium
  • Radon*** and hydrogen sulfide

* Arsenic is usually filtered with an efficiency of over 85%, but in rare cases the filtration result may be weaker. ** Salt (sodium and chloride) is filtered with a freshwater system by approximately 85%. *** If radon is present in the water, it should be noted that the activated carbon filter may act as a radiation source. For more information on radon filtration, see the operating and installation instructions. If necessary, contact your dealer.

Replacement filters:

Pre-filters replacement interval 1-3 years:

  • 1 µm particulate filter ( AQMF1-XL )
  • Activated carbon filter ( AQCB-XL )
  • Polyphosphate filter ( AQPF-L )

Post-filter replacement interval 1-2 years:

Reverse osmosis membranes 1-5 years:

  • Reverse osmosis membranes 2 x ( AQ062-S )

The frequency of filter replacement is affected by the amount of water used and the quality of the raw water.

Package contents:

  • AQVA AHTI 2 BOX modular reverse osmosis system
  • Pre- and post-filters, replacement air filter, reverse osmosis membranes
  • 10 meters of installation hose
  • 15 mm connectors that may be needed for installation
  • TDS pen meter
  • Centering rings for pre- and post-filters
  • Sealing grease
  • Case keys

Technical specifications:

  • Clean water production rate at 9 bar and 21c water up to 300 liters per hour*
  • Water inlet for the equipment 1 "internal thread
  • Water outlet for property distribution 1" internal thread
  • Physical dimensions: width 85 cm, depth 65 cm, height 165 cm
  • Dry weight: 89 kg
  • Weight in use: 350 kg
  • The equipment should be installed in a space where possible water leaks and drips onto the walls or floor will not cause problems.
  • The system produces more rinse water than clean water. The recommended amount of rinse water is 2-3 liters per 1 liter of filtered water. The ratio can be adjusted using the rinse water meter on the system.
  • For more information about the hardware, please refer to the installation and user manual in the "Files" tab.

* Please refer to the yield rate table in the device installation and operating instructions.

System requirements:

  • Constant supply pressure of 2 - 10 bar
  • At pressures below 3 bar, the clean water production rate may be slow. By increasing the supply pressure, the clean water production rate can be increased.
  • Feed water temperature 4 - 30c
  • Recommended feed water TDS value below 1500 mg/l. At higher TDS values, the production rate will be lower.

Winter storage:

  • The equipment must not be allowed to freeze, so that there is water inside it. However, the equipment can be used in locations where there is no winter heating. In this case, the equipment must be taken into account for winter storage. Detailed instructions for the measures can be found in the equipment's operating and installation instructions.
