Filtration Process

• First Stage: Sediment Filtration

A 1 µm (1/1000th of a millimeter) fine filter removes both visible and invisible suspended solids, ensuring crystal-clear water. This stage also reduces approximately 30% of dissolved humus, enhancing water quality.

• Second Stage: AQVA MAX Filter

The AQVA MAX filter, utilizing high-surface-area ion-exchange fiber technology, primarily targets humus while also reducing iron and manganese. This stage delivers superior water purification, tackling common impurities effectively.

• Final Stage: Ultrafiltration

The AQUF01-M ultrafilter, with a 0.1 µm pore size, eliminates bacteria, yeast, mold, and residual suspended solids and humus. This ensures your water is safe and clean, meeting high standards for drinking water quality.

Filtration Performance

• Typical Flow Rate: Up to 4 liters per minute, suitable for a single water point. Higher flow rates are possible, but filtration efficiency may temporarily decrease.

• Pressure Drop: 0.5–1.0 bar at a flow rate of 4 liters per minute, depending on filter usage.

• Operating Pressure: 2–10 bar. For higher pressures, a pressure reduction valve can be installed.

• Maximum Iron Content: Up to 5 mg/L (4000 µg/L), recommended limit 2 mg/L.

• Maximum Manganese Content: Recommended limit 300 µg/L.

• Maximum Humus Content: COD 10 mg/L (40 mg/L KMnO4). The system can handle higher humus levels, but ultrafilter clogging may occur faster.

• Additional Protection: For water containing fecal bacteria, we recommend a compact reverse osmosis unit (e.g., under-sink model) for drinking water as a precautionary measure due to the theoretical risk of mechanical failure.
