Radon is an odorless, tasteless, and colorless contaminant found in varying levels in groundwater and well water across Finland.

The quality requirement limit for radon is 1000 Bq/l, with a recommended guideline of 300 Bq/l.

Radon in drinking water exposes the digestive system to radiation, posing a cancer risk. Radon can also evaporate from water into the air, such as during boiling, showering, or using washing machines.

The product includes a sampling kit with prepaid shipping to the laboratory and clear sampling instructions.

Results are delivered to your email within two weeks of the sample’s arrival at the laboratory.

The analysis report includes a statement based on the threshold values set by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, evaluated according to the water’s tested properties.

NOTE: When collecting a radon sample, the sampling container must be filled completely to the brim, leaving no air in the bottle, contrary to standard instructions.
