Advanced Water Purification for Humus and Bacteria Removal
The AQVA XL filter system is engineered to remove humus and bacteria from water while also reducing iron and manganese levels. This high-performance water purifier ensures clean, safe water for homes and businesses.
Three-Stage Filtration Process:
Fine Filtration (1µm): The first stage employs the AQMF1-XL fine filter to remove visible and invisible particles down to 1 micron (1/1000th of a millimeter). This stage also eliminates approximately 30% of dissolved humus.
Humus, Iron, and Manganese Reduction: The second stage uses the AQVA MAX filter, leveraging high-surface-area ion-exchange fiber technology to primarily target humus while also reducing iron and manganese content.
Bacteria and Ultra-Fine Filtration (0.1µm): In the final stage, the AQUF01-XL ultrafilter, operating at a 0.1µm bacterial-grade level, removes bacteria, yeasts, molds, and additional solids and humus for superior water quality.

Filtration Performance:
Typical flow rate: Up to 15 liters per minute, suitable for 1–4 water outlets. Higher flow rates are possible, but filtration efficiency may temporarily decrease.
Typical pressure drop: 0.4–0.8 bar at a flow rate of 10 liters per minute, depending on filter usage.
Operating pressure: 2–6 bar. A pressure-reducing valve can be installed for higher pressures.
Maximum recommended iron content: 4 mg/L, with a suggested limit of 2 mg/L.
Maximum recommended manganese content: 300 µg/L.
Maximum recommended humus content: COD 10 mg/L (40 mg/L KMnO4). The system can handle higher humus levels, but the ultrafilter may clog more quickly.
For water containing fecal bacteria, additional protection for drinking water is recommended, such as a compact under-sink small reverse osmosis system like AQVA Smart EVO (product code: AQ006-EVO), due to the theoretical risk of mechanical failure.
