Versatile Water Purification for Arsenic, Odors, and Humus Reduction

The AQVA XL-size combination filter package is an excellent all-purpose water purifier designed to reduce arsenic, odors, tastes, and humus. Featuring KDF oxidation-reduction media with mild ion-exchange properties and traditional activated carbon, this filter effectively addresses a wide range of odor and taste issues, including mild hydrogen sulfide smells.

This filter also reduces arsenic, a harmful contaminant even in small amounts. Concentrations above 100 µg/L can be detrimental in household and bathing water. Depending on the type of arsenic, the filter removes 30–70% of the arsenic content. For optimal arsenic removal in drinking and cooking water, we recommend a compact reverse osmosis unit, available in our reverse osmosis product range.

Filtration and Purification Process:

The combination filter, with KDF oxidation-reduction media and activated carbon, removes a variety of contaminants, including heavy metals, organic compounds, and mild hydrogen sulfide, while addressing odor and taste issues.

  Replace the filter when water flow decreases, water quality changes, or the filter reaches its lifespan, indicating clogging or reduced effectiveness. If you notice changes in purified water quality, we recommend conducting a follow-up water analysis of the raw water.

System Requirements:

• Consistent inlet pressure: Up to 6 bar

• Water supply to the purifier, typically installed after a diaphragm pressure tank or pump in the water line

Winter Storage:

In winter, if temperatures drop below 2°C, close the water lines and drain the filter housing to prevent frost damage.
