High-Capacity Water Purification for Odor and Chemical Reduction
The AQVA XL-size fibrous activated carbon filter package is designed to improve household water quality by effectively reducing musty and earthy odors and tastes. It also removes heavy metals, chemical residues, and other contaminants, making it ideal for purifying well water, municipal water, or natural water sources.
For water with hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), a separate hydrogen sulfide filter (AQ1XL-CAT) is available.

Filtration and Purification Process:
The fibrous activated carbon filter removes musty and earthy odors, tastes, heavy metals, chlorine, pesticides, solvents, hydrogen sulfide, radon, and other organic compounds.

Replacement Filter:
- Replacement Filter Cartridge: AQCF-XL
- Replace the filter when water flow decreases, water quality changes, or after 6–12 months, indicating clogging or reduced effectiveness. If you notice changes in purified water quality, we recommend conducting a follow-up water analysis of the raw water.

System Requirements:
- Consistent inlet pressure: Up to 6 bar
- Water supply to the purifier, typically installed after a diaphragm pressure tank or pump in the water line

Winter Storage:
In winter, if temperatures drop below 2°C, close the water lines and drain the filter housing to prevent frost damage.
