XL-size one micron fine particulate filter package

Benefits:

Filtration method and what it removes:

• Polypropylene fine filter cartridge filters out both visible and invisible suspended particles down to 1 µm (1/1000 of a millimetre).
• The filter also removes dissolved humic substances (humus/coloured organic matter) from the water.

• Suspended solids / particulate matter
• Humus (dissolved organic matter)
• Silt / fine sediment

Replacement cartridge:

• Replace the filter cartridge when water flow decreases noticeably or when the outlet pressure after the filter approaches zero. At this point the filter is clogged and should be replaced.
• Replacement cartridge: AQMF1-XL
• Approximate capacity: ~24 000 litres*

*The actual service life depends heavily on the quality of the raw water.

If you notice changes in the quality of the treated water, we recommend having a follow-up raw water analysis performed.

• The AQVA XL-size filter housing is compatible with standard 20” BB (Big Blue) inline filter cartridges.
• The housing is equipped with a pressure relief button that makes opening much easier.

System requirements:

• Stable inlet pressure: 2–10 bar. Usually installed in the water line after the pressure tank or pressure pump.
• Water supply to the filter unit.
• Pre-filtration: When drawing water from e.g. a lake, we strongly recommend installing a coarse debris strainer (S-1504) at the intake point to prevent large debris and fish from entering the water line.

Winter storage:

• In winter, if temperatures drop below 2 °C, drain the water lines and empty the filter housings to prevent frost damage. Close the water supply before draining.
