Easy and quick replacement of the reverse osmosis membrane
Cleaning and operating principle:
In reverse osmosis, only water molecules pass through the purification membrane, and impurities are automatically flushed away with the wastewater.
Clean water production ratio approx. 1:3
Filters:
Bacteria, viruses, cysts
Manganese
Sulphur, hydrogen sulphide
Iron
Uranium
Fluoride, chloride
Lime (calcium)
Salts such as chloride, sodium, sulphates, nitrates and nitrites
Impurities detached from piping
Hormone, antibiotic and pharmaceutical residues
Pollutants
Microplastics
Colour
Additionally softens the water
Technical specifications:
Water purification capacity: max. 690 l/day/per reverse osmosis membrane, at 8.5 bar pressure.* Water quality, temperature and pressure affect the production rate.
Water quality affects the production rate. With saline water, the production rate is more moderate.
Filter replacement interval: approx. 1–2 years
Required number of membranes: 2 pcs reverse osmosis membranes for SAIMAA, SAIMAA 2 and ROBUST3000 reverse osmosis devices
Dimensions: Length 300 mm and diameter 70 mm
System requirements:
Stable feed pressure 2–10 bar
Best suited for water with salinity of max. 6 ‰ or TDS value max. 6900 mg/l or electrical conductivity max. 10 800 µS/cm.
Winter storage:
Winter storage of the reverse osmosis unit is done by plugging the water lines of the reverse osmosis unit and moving the reverse osmosis unit to a warm storage space. In spring, when the reverse osmosis system is put back into use, water can be run, for example, for 30 minutes into the drain so that the membranes are flushed. After this, the water can be used normally.
