Easy and quick reverse osmosis membrane replacement
Cleaning and methods of action:
In reverse osmosis, water molecules pass through the purification membrane and impurities are automatically flushed out with the effluent water.
Clean water yield approx. 1:3
Filters from water:
Bacteria, viruses, cysts
Manganese
Sulfur, hydrogen sulfide
Iron
Uranium
Fluoride, chloride
Lime
Salts such as chloride, sodium, sulfates, nitrates, and nitrite
Impurities released from pipelines
Hormone, antibiotic and drug residues
Pollution
Microplastics
Color
Additionally softens the water
Technical features:
Water purification capacity: max. 690 l/day/reverse osmosis membrane, at 8.5 bar pressure.* Water quality, temperature and pressure affect the production rate
Water quality has an impact on the production rate. In salt water, the production rate is more moderate.
Filter replacement interval: approx. 1-2 years
Required number of membranes: 2 pcs of reverse osmosis membranes for SAIMAA, SAIMAA 2 and ROBUST3000 reverse osmosis devices
Suitable for SAIMAA2 GO device. Required number of films: 1 piece.
Dimensions: Length 300 mm and diameter 70 mm
System requirements:
Constant supply pressure 2-10 bar
Best suited for water with a salinity of up to 6‰ or a TDS value of up to 6900 mg/l or an electrical conductivity of up to 10,800 µS/cm.
Winter storage:
Winter storage of the reverse osmosis system can be achieved by plugging the water lines of the reverse osmosis unit and moving the reverse osmosis unit to a warm storage location. When the reverse osmosis system is put back into service in the spring, the water can be drained into the drain for, for example, 30 minutes to rinse the membranes. After this, the water can be used normally.
