AQVA Oxidizing Iron-Manganese Filter 10 Inch BB/L Size

Iron-manganese filter cartridge made in Finland. Especially suitable for waters that also smell of hydrogen sulfide. Fits AQVA L-size filter housing.

The filter effectively reduces iron and manganese from tap water. Suitable for clarifying well water, for 1-2 water points.

** Overall water properties, such as pH value, salinity and humus, can affect the effectiveness.

Filter replacement:

• AQFE2-L, change every 40,000 liters, for example, when the iron content of the raw water is approx. 2 mg/l Fe and humus has been removed from the water.*

• *The filter's lifespan depends on the quality of the raw water.

• Replace the filter at the latest when the filtered water starts to turn yellow. This means the filter capacity has reached its full capacity.

• Replace the filter at least once a year.

• If you notice changes in the quality of your purified water, we recommend having a follow-up water analysis of the raw water.

System requirements:

• Raw water max. iron content 3 mg/l. Recommendation less than 2 mg/l.

• Raw water max. manganese content 300 µg/l. Recommendation less than 100 µg/l.

• Raw water max. humus content 15mg/l.

• Raw water pH value: 6 - 9.

• Constant supply pressure, 2-6 bar.
• The filter also stops sediments and solids. If there are a lot of these in the water, a separate fine filtration is recommended.

Winter storage:

In winter, if temperatures drop below 2°C, water lines are closed and line filter housings are emptied to prevent frost damage.
