Iron filter cartridge made in Finland, suitable for AQVA XL-size filter housing.
The filter effectively reduces iron and manganese from household water. Ideal for clarifying well water, suitable for 1–4 water points.
Specially designed for water where also hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) is present.

- Suspended solids down to 5 µm
The overall properties of the water, such as pH, salt content, and humus, may affect performance.
Filter replacement:
- AQFE2-XL, replace, for example, every 80,000 liters when raw water iron content is approximately 2 mg/l Fe and humus has been removed from the water.*
- Filter lifespan depends on raw water quality.
- Replace the filter at the latest when the filtered water starts to turn yellowish, indicating the filter’s capacity is exhausted.
- Replace the filter at least once a year.
- If you notice changes in the quality of the filtered water, we recommend conducting a follow-up water analysis of the raw water.
