Acidic water neutralization filter

Suitable for raising pH levels, for example, in post-filtration for reverse osmosis systems.

The operation is based on natural water alkalinization. The redesigned filter cartridge, manufactured in Finland, contains domestic calcium. Low pH levels can cause, for instance, corrosion in copper pipes.

Technical Specifications:

Indicative pH increase at different flow rates, liters per minute:

• 0.5 lpm = +1
• 1.0 lpm = +0.7
• 1.5 lpm = +0.6 Connecting multiple filters in series can increase the pH rise relative to the flow rate.

Filter Capacity:

The lifespan depends on the water's properties and initial pH value. At pH 6, approximately 4,000 liters. Water properties affect practical lifespan; generally, lower pH reduces lifespan, while higher pH extends it.

Recommended Use:

For pH levels between 5.0 and 6.9.

Filter Activation:

The calcium-containing filter must be thoroughly flushed with plenty of water upon initial use. Flushing should be repeated several times.*
