Filtration method and what it removes:

• The activated carbon block filters out suspended solids down to 5–10 µm
• Activated carbon adsorbs odours, tastes, heavy metals and various organic compounds

System requirements:

• Stable inlet pressure: 2–10 bar. Usually installed in the water line after the pressure tank or pressure pump.
• Water supply to the filter unit.
• Pre-filtration: When drawing water from e.g. a lake, it is highly recommended to install a 1 µm particulate filter (AQ1MC-MF1) before the activated carbon filter.

Winter storage:

• In winter, if temperatures drop below 2 °C, drain the water lines and empty the filter housings to prevent frost damage. Close the water supply before draining.
