Efficient Water Purification for Iron, Manganese, and Humus Reduction

The AQVA L-size IRON filter package is designed to effectively remove iron and manganese while reducing humus, making it ideal for 1–2 simultaneous water outlets. It includes the highly efficient AQVA IRON filter (product code: AQ051) and an L-size filter housing with accessories.

This water purifier removes various forms of iron and manganese efficiently, unaffected by water pH, making it suitable for all water types. It also reduces humus and incorporates a 5µm fine filtration stage to remove solids.

Filtration and Purification Process:

The AQVA IRON filter, utilizing high-surface-area, porous, thread-bound ion-exchange technology, removes iron, manganese, and other metals like lead and copper. The integrated 5µm fine filtration stage removes solids and reduces humus. For waters with high humus content, an AQVA MAX or 1µm fine filter can be used as a pre-filter to extend lifespan.

Removes from Water:

• Iron (recommended: 2 mg/L, maximum: 4 mg/L)

• Manganese (recommended: 0.3 mg/L, maximum: 0.6 mg/L)

• Humus (reduces lifespan due to humus content)

• Solids

• Other metals (e.g., lead, copper)

Filter Capacity:

• Dependent on water quality; humus reduces lifespan

• Recommended pre-filtration with AQVA MAX or 1µm fine filter for high humus content

Replacement Filter:

• Replacement Filter Cartridge: AQ051

• Replace the filter when water flow decreases or water quality changes, indicating clogging. If you notice changes in purified water quality, we recommend conducting a follow-up water analysis of the raw water.

System Requirements:

• Consistent inlet pressure: Up to 6 bar

Winter Storage:

In winter, if temperatures drop below 2°C, close the water lines and drain the filter housing to prevent frost damage.
