AQVA L-Size Filter System for Iron, Manganese, and Humus Removal

The AQVA L-size filter system is expertly designed for comprehensive water purification, effectively removing iron, manganese, and humus. This advanced filtration solution ensures clean, safe water for household use, making it ideal for addressing water quality issues related to metal and organic impurities.

Filtration Process:

• First Stage: Fine Filtration

• Second Stage: AQVA IRON Filter

• Final Stage: AQVA MAX Filter

A 1 µm (1/1000th of a millimeter) fine filter (AQMF1-L) removes both visible and invisible suspended solids, delivering clear water. This stage also reduces approximately 30% of humus, enhancing water clarity and quality.

The AQVA IRON filter (AQ051), utilizing high-surface-area ion-exchange fiber technology, primarily targets iron and manganese, effectively reducing these metals to ensure high-quality water.

The AQVA MAX filter (AQ051X) focuses on removing humus, providing a final polish to the water for optimal purity and taste.

Filtration Performance:

• Typical Flow Rate: Up to 8 liters per minute. Higher flow rates are possible, but filtration efficiency may temporarily decrease.
• Pressure Drop: 0.5–1.0 bar at a flow rate of 10 liters per minute, influenced by filter usage.
• Operating Pressure: 2–6 bar. For higher pressures, a pressure reduction valve can be installed.

Raw Water Requirements:

• Maximum Iron Content: Up to 4 mg/L (4000 µg/L), recommended limit 2 mg/L.

• Maximum Manganese Content: Up to 1.2 mg/L (1200 µg/L), recommended limit 600 µg/L.

• Maximum Humus Content: COD 20 mg/L (80 mg/L KMnO4). Humus type may affect filtration efficiency and lifespan.

This system also reduces various metals, including lead, copper, cadmium, and uranium, enhancing overall water safety.

Replacement Filters and Estimated Lifespan:

• AQMF1-L: 1 µm fine filter, approximately 18,000 liters.

• AQ051: AQVA IRON filter, approximately 160,000 liters at 1 mg/L iron content or 40,000 liters at 4 mg/L iron content.

• AQ051X: AQVA MAX filter, approximately 40,000 liters at a humus content of COD 5 mg/L after previous filters.
