Iron and Manganese Filtration for Utility Water:
The AQFE-XL Iron Removal Filter Cartridge is designed for AQVA XL-size (20” BB
standard) filter housings, efficiently reducing iron and manganese from utility
water. Featuring activated carbon, it also eliminates odors and unpleasant
tastes, making it ideal for clarifying cottage water, lake water, or well water
for 1–4 water points.

Note:
Purification efficiency may be affected by water characteristics such as pH,
salinity, and humus content.

- filter Capacity: Up to
approximately 163,000 liters when raw water iron content is around 2 mg/L
and humus has been pre-removed.
- Replacement Indicator: Replace
when filtered water develops a yellowish tint, indicating the filter’s
capacity is exhausted. Replace at least annually.
- Note: Filter lifespan depends
on raw water quality. If purified water quality changes, conduct a
follow-up water analysis.

- Maximum Humus Content: 15 mg/L.
- pH Range: 6–9, with an optimal
pH of 7.8.

feed pressure of 2–6 bar.
Winter
Storage:
In winter, when temperatures drop below 2°C, shut off water lines and drain
filter housings to prevent damage from freezing.
